"We have to ruthlessly eliminate hurry from our life." A hyperbolic statement about how hard it is in this world to live unhurried, but how necessary it is. The desert temptation account of Jesus, in one sense, could be seen as the Devil tempting Jesus to "hurry." It's a fitting illustration of the power of "hurry's" tempting force: 1) Grab what you can, now! 2) Take Charge, now!, 3) Prove God's power, now!
Jesus shows us how to defeat these powerful forces that want to hurry our lives, and He does so revealing the power of the Holy Spirit.
